I too am 39 years old and feel like I am going through the frumpy stage now. I do think I know what I want my style to be but feel I need to lose 15kg – 20kgs first.

I just got the book “the life-changing magic of tidying up” yesterday. I also have read “Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui” by Karen Kingston twice! Awesome book. Big clear-outs of my entire household followed both reads! You’re fortunate to have found your style in your 20’s. I’m 39 & have just really found mine only after having gone through a frump girl phase the last few years.

I think that’s a fair sentiment – you’re still finding yourself in your early twenties, and while I think I’ve got a wee ways to go yet (and probably into my thirties), it’s been satisfying to get a handle on what I love wearing and what looks good on me. Good luck tin the wardrobe cull! x

It’s one of the things I’ve been thinking about a bit as I imagine starting a family will naturally be one of the things we start to plan following our wedding in October (although not too soon after!!). I’ve been trying to be a lot more practical just as we do have pets too, and buy things that can withstand a little more wear, I suppose! Good luck with the transition – the thing that scares me most? Apparently your feet can grow in size!!! I’m already a EU40 so I couldn’t bear it if my feet were any bigger… eek.

The one about motherhood really hit me! We’re thinking about having kids in the next year and I am definitely not sure how my silk tops and high heels are going to fare 😉
